Tickets now available for the new SHD service beginning February 18, 2008.
“We are pleased to announce the arrival of the United Express product to the Shenandoah Valley” said Gerald Garber, Chairman of the Airport Commission. “The time-saving convenience of SHD, coupled with more competitive fares, improved connections at United’s Washington hub, and the larger Saab aircraft brings world class service to the Shenandoah Valley.”
The Airport has been in negotiations with Colgan Air for some time for the larger aircraft and conversion to the United system. “Our customers have told us repeatedly that SHD is their airport of choice and that they desired the larger aircraft, more competitive fares and better connections. That is exactly what Colgan has delivered. We trust the traveling public will support this investment made by Colgan in our community.” said Greg Campbell, Executive Director of the facility. We look forward to ReUniting the Valley travelers with their Airport.
